Occasionally a good series still slips through. The current series “Masters of the Air” on Apple+ is great. It’s like Band of Brothers but centers on a group of Air Force B-52 pilots and crews during WW2.

I love Masters of the Air, but as soon as the flak stops, and you know the Luftwaffe fighters are coming...my wife rolls into a ball on the couch trying to mute the fighting, or just leaves the room. She can’t stand it, but I tell her if she’s that wound up, imagine being on one of the crews.

The current series “Masters of the Air” on Apple+ is great.

Apple+ is putting out some of the best TV since the glory days of HBO. As I mentioned up-thread, "Tehran" is another excellent show.

There weren’t any B-52’s during World War Two unless these pilots had a time machine.
B-17, B-24, B-25, and B-29 towards the end, but at that time they were in the Pacific Theater.

I don’t think any B-29’s served in the European Theater.
