One can make the case that Trump, being willing to look beyond the politician with the apparent conservative pedigree (Pence), means he doesn't want to be trusting and so easily fooled again by a Swamp dweller.

Hopefully he'll remain alive to be able to make a pick. They want him out of the picture so badly, they'll kill him, and if they don't kill him, they'll steal another election, because nobody's ever stopped them or punished them in the past.
