Well, there is a “fringe” of pro Russia supporters here on FR. They are about a dozen. A minority indeed, but it’s still noteworthy because they are very vocal and at times agressive. They present themselves as Americans.
They have repeatedly expressed their admiration for Russia and their wish for Ukraine to lose the war. They are rationalizing Russia’s war efforts.
Even in Europe you’ll find a minority of pro-russians.
I remember the pro-Vietnam and ultra-pro-Russia American hippies... like Hanoï-Jane for example... when she sat smiling with the Vietcongs and symbolically aiming at American planes flying above (with a russian-made anti-aircraft machine gun).
I don’t like that behavior, to say the least.
