I am sad to disagree with you. I don’t think it can be saved. Not like it is or like it was. I think too much damage has been done. It is become like an old house with too much damage to repair. There may be a United States left but it will not be the one we had just 50 years ago and certainly not as founded.
I’m not ready to give up completely.
I’m hopeful Trump wins and begins to cut the federal budget and start to repay the debt. hell, I would even support raising taxes if it means cutting spending. Next, he needs to depart at least the last 10 million illegals and build the wall.
Regardless, those moves could have significant effect on the path to recovery.
The social side of things is more problematic.
