These people are committed technocrats and transhumanists, who despite wealth greater than any previous generation can’t solve the issue of father time.

It happens to everyone at some point in your life you realize you are mortal and father time always wins, these billionaires are basically weak people who have changed the world technically but can’t solve the one issue that everyone suffers from, you will die someday and there is nothing you can do about it.

They seek solutions creating doomsday bunkers, uploading their conscientiousness to the cloud, implanting computer chips in their brains all in pursuit of immortality, all of which will fail and it’s freaking them out.
