As I understand it ‘Somaliland’ is a part of Somalia that has declared itself independent and has had de facto control of the northern part of Somalia for some time now. Somalia’s representative in the U.S. Congress, Ilhan Omar, is outraged by the continued existence of Somaliland. I can think of no reason why Somaliland would do anything to aid the Houthis. Somalia on the other hand...
