My guess is that she is trying to signal to all the Deep State establishment that she is going to hang in there just incase they're about to get Trump removed before fall.

I think they really believe they'll have Trump in jail before the convention and they'll need someone to appoint. Haley thinks it's going to be her, and she's sending the signal that she's willing to stick it out, in spite of the trouncing she is going to get in each of the primaries.
