He’s been mute on runaway property taxes, glacial on education and has maybe 6 cumulative, not consecutive, months of optics on border issues that have rampaged unabated for 3 years. All in weak governer political system. But as he declared during COVID lockdowns I’m non-essential, so your mileage may vary.

Interesting. Texas is safe for Trump for elector votes but Abbot is very good on border issues. For the “woke crowd” he is in a wheel chair. Makes it a little hard to attack him.
