Let’s see how that plays out.

That’s right - and the closer any of these cases get to the SCOTUS, the more likely they are to be overturned, because the higher courts do NOT like their rulings to be reversed by SCOTUS, and they know SCOTUS would do just that.

These cases reek of election interference - because that’s exactly what they are - and everyone knows it.

A losing defendant needs an appeal bond, which is required by both federal and state courts, to secure their right to appeal an adverse judgment and stay the plaintiff's execution of that judgment. The process of appealing involves posting a full judgment in addition to posting interest.

Looks like that would include the supremes.

Let’s see how that plays out.

It's New York. Likely every federal judge for that district is also a loon. He will likely have to go through all the lower federal courts until he gets to the supreme court, and then they will put a stop to this nonsense.

The Prosecutor and the Judge needs to go to prison.

"Denial of Civil Rights under color of authority."

Lock them up.

Essentially they want A 100% escrow deposit before they will hear appeal.

I don't understand how that's legal. Given the appeal is pre-destined to fail and this is headed for the USSC no matter what, this reeks of extortion.

Not an appeal, a lawsuit alleging violations of the fifth, the eighth and the 14th amendments.

Violations of the various civil rights acts, RICO, Election interference, and numerous other violations of Federal law.

But your pointing out the "rules" of having to post the full judgement just shows what a dysfunctional collection of @$$holery is the judicial system.

These requirements are inherently unfair, and allow some idiot judge to put the judgement beyond people's means of appealing, and defacto denying them their civil rights.

Funny how no one was upset about this until it tagged Trump. Now everyone is a desktop lawyer.

He can take it to the federal level without paying NY anything.

What's providing the confidence that the feds will take up the case at all, or take up the case before the appeals have been exhausted at the state level, or that they'd even rule in his favor?

Until there's actual movement in the direction of sanity, or a solid reason to be confident, just expect that the kangaroo courts will act with reckless abandon.

Upset about what? Corrupt, LYING, idiot judges bungling/corrupting the law?

You don't know who you are talking to. I bitch about this constantly. That corrupt coward idiot judge in Minneapolis that found Derick Chauvin guilty is a prime example.

I consider Judges to be very close to vermin and I would very much like to see the arrogant little tyrant bastards get the comeuppance they deserve.

Many judges are absolute idiots, and some are just corrupt bastards who put their own preferences above the law.

So no, don't tell me I don't bitch about corrupt idiot judges, I bitch about that quite a lot.

If he has to mortgage a property to get a loan, wont that be the whole reason for the civil suit against him?

>>>I guess it is, on the face.

And, I know PDJT always emphasizes how LIQUID he is, yet it’s still problematic for virtually anyone to fork over half a billion dollars.

Again, I pray that a few of his most affluent friends come to the rescue.

I don’t care if he posts it so he can appeal, those criminals wouldn’t release a single f-ing penny of it if Trump wins.

I hope all business owners in NY will take note of these crimes against a man who has given billions in taxes to NY and employed thousands of Nyers and take the appropriate actions of relocating elsewhere.

P.S. YOU ARE NEXT.

I don't have any confidence in the Federal courts doing the right thing until it finally gets to the Supreme Court, and even then, I put the odds at 80% or so.

Nobody knows what that idiot Roberts will do, and far too often he sides with the nuts.

It’s a banana republic dictatorship.

They say he can’t appeal without the money put up but also say he can’t use a bank to get the money.

Classic dictatorship tactics.

Not about judges, but civil appeals.

Yes, some judges are idiots. Did you read Engoron’s reasoning?

...and can also be willing to offer a number of properties for collateral toward loans . . . . . .

Woah! That's a slippery slope!

Suppose the NY Judge doesn't agree with their estimated value?
