Ukraine's armed forces have shot down six Russian fighter jets in just three days, according to the country's Ministry of Defense.

The ministry said in a statement on X, formerly Twitter, that Ukraine on Monday destroyed two Russian jets—an Su-34 fighter-bomber and an Su-35S fighter jet.

"Russian planes continue to fall! This morning, defenders of the sky shot down two russian planes in the eastern direction—a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35 fighter," it said. "In 3 days, Ukraine destroyed 6 russian jets."

The news comes after the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, said Ukraine destroyed four Russian military aircraft over the weekend.

Who’s denying it? Just pointing you are all rah-rah for the invading orc army, which is pathetic. When will you chuckleheads realize you are on the wrong side of history? Russia may win some battles, given its sheer size and number of weapons, but there is a lot to be said for will to fight and ingenuity. The Ukrainians are fighting for their sovereignty and their freedom, and God willing, will prevail.

What a stupid comment. That was SIX fighters that were fused with the Earth’s surface out of the hundreds the Russians still have. It’s a good start, but it’s only a start….more to come - rest assured.

You show your total lack of understanding by not knowing how vitally important Avdiivka was for the Ukes. It was by far and away, without question, undeniably the most important military action going on the last three weeks. The Ukes sent every reserve they get there in, including the Azov Brigade. All that but NO air defense. No wonder you wolf down the BS western disinfo so readily. You don’t think!

And that shows your lack of understanding. Avdiivka is more important to the orc army as a forward logistics hub, but the Ukrainians defended there because it has fortress qualities and forced the Russians to suffer more casualties taking it than the Soviets lost through their entire disastrous 10-year campaign in Afghanistan. So a tactical win, but a strategic loss for the orcs. The body bags will start showing up in Moscow in the coming weeks.

its army suffered catastrophic causalities in Avdeyevka

I think you meant to say that the Russians suffered catastrophic casualties in Avdiivka. They had more than 40,000 casualties to capture the ruins of a small city, and lost more than 400 armored vehicles.

Russia lost more than 1,000 men for each square mile they captured. How is that a victory?

The Russians pay dearly for their “victories”, from these rather expensive jets to the seriously shocking amount of equipment they lost and the insanely large numbers of casualties they have taken by taking Avdiivka.

No one can sustain that kind of loss and keep fighting for very long, not even the Russians with their vaunted capacity for suffering.

Speaking of that … I’m trying to imagine those ‘victors’ as they survey the carnage, their carnage, their dead and the landscape they’ve created out of what was a nice place.

And then there are those who have to clean up and dispose of all those dead bodies, their dead, and how disheartening this “win” must be, especially knowing there is no end to it.

The psychological toll of these things, this carnage and destruction, that happened to them against a far smaller force with far less artillery and equipment than they had, these stories will be told to those grieving families back home, the senseless of it … they will feel it.

Ukraine did a good job doing what couldn’t be done for as long as they did and for the price they made the Russians pay. Much better than with Bakhmut. They’re getting better, smarter about fighting with the tools they have, and, more and better weapons will be coming and not just from the US, but from all of NATO and from others, too.

Hitler didn’t stand a chance once American manufacturing got into the fight. So too now with Putin as the West retools and ramps up production to satisfy the demands Putin has placed upon them.

There was no war until Putin brought one and I think it’s just going to get worse and worse for the Russians one way or another until they quit and go back home.

Russia should continue to send planes deep into Ukraine ...
——-
They don’t, they hit as far as Lvov with Kinzals regularly. Avidivka was hit with 300 FAB’s a day for three days….Ivan’s 1500 Kilo FABs are widely credited with vaporizing the Ukie resistance….the sheer number of FAB’s has the twinkle toes Pentagon pissing in their panties….how could this be? MSM told us Ivan was out of missiles….and using shovels and washing machine chips….all the way to the Dniepner….

St Zelensky is now, finally preparing to get negotiating……to late, Vlad understands the corrupted West can not be trusted…..he needs to get full unconditional surrender to insure this collective West $hit show never repeats.

“Completely wrong.” ?

Sorry, but where am I wrong?
The Criminal Gangs running things in Eastern Europe and Russia are not our friends. Even with 10% going to the Big Guy’s re-installment campaign. Keeping Uke as a buffer between NATO and Russia is a good idea. Thousands being slaughtered every day this goes on is bad. It’s not our fight, not our war.

Ukraine is a modern post-war construct, like most of the rest of Europe and the Middle East. Borders drawn with crayons by rich, old grey men. Language, Culture, and Clan rivalry dominate inside and across these artificial boundaries.

Let Europe figure it out. We did it twice for ‘em at a monstrous cost in blood and treasure. After the invading MooseLimb Hordes are done with ‘em, it won’t matter anyway.
Old Europe is done.

Not my kids. Not your kids. Not one more borrowed dime.

You’re wrong in your historical analysis. The borders in that area of the world were most recently set by mass murdering Kremlin filth. Tatars genocidally erased from Crimea. Ukrainian Cossacks genocidally erased in what is now the Kuban area of Russia.

Reagan and John Paul II believed all people had God given rights not to be ruled by mass murdering Kremlin filth. Apparently, sitting in your armchair today you don’t. That’s ok. But I’m sure you’d feel quite different if Dear Leader Putin was sending Russian Nazis to, again, murder your family and neighbors.

Somebodies kids in Texas have good new jobs exporting energy to Europe now. Tell Europe to get their energy from Russia and tell those Texans to kiss their good jobs goodbye. Your weakness and isolationism has a price that will be paid.

We’re Americans. Weakness has never brought us any good. No time to start now, FRiend.
