Thomas Sowell’s book “White Liberals and Black Rednecks” will explain how racial preferences in higher education hurt the group being “helped.” Its central thesis is how the baser distinctives of “southern culture” (such as contempt of authority, abuse of alcohol, “living by one’s wits” rather than by hard work, violent outbursts, and loose sexual morality, to name a few) are not based in Africa, but rather, the the fringes of Irish, Scottish, and English societies of the colonial period.

Every American should read (or listen to, as I did) the book. His writings are a balm of Gilead to heal the sin sick soul of America.

Regarding Fani, Forrest Gump’s mama taught him, “Stupid is as stupid does.” Hard saying, but if the shoe fits . . .

Sowell is a very bright guy and an excellent economist.

The problem is that while the “bad culture” may not have been created by black people it took really well to a very large percentage of them—and relatively quickly. When you add a touch of anti-white racism you get a toxic mix that makes them a dangerous enemy of civilization that will destroy everything it touches.
