The second and final day of a court hearing of evidence in allegations that Georgia prosecutor Fani Wills had an "improper" affair with her colleague has concluded, but the judge will still review testimony in a closed-door meeting.
After a bombshell admission by the defense's key witness, Terrence Bradley, who avoided answering certain questions citing attorney client privilege, Judge Scott McAfee said he would hold an "in-camera" meeting with Bradley to determine if his privilege assertions are accurate.
[...]
Bradley had refused to answer some of the questions asked by defense counsel about what he knew about Wade and Wills’ relationship and when he knew, citing attorney client privilege. Bradley, for a brief time, was Wade’s lawyer during his divorce, which was finalized in 2023.
But Bradley admitted that a large reason he left the law firm was because an employee at the firm accused him of sexual assault, though he denied the allegation. He also indirectly admitted that he paid the employee who accused him.
This is significant because earlier in his testimony Bradley testified that the reason he left the firm was related to Wade's divorce proceedings, and therefore covered by attorney client privilege.
Judge Scott McAfee said that Bradley's admission re-opens questions about what Bradley refused to answer about what he knew about Wade and Fani Willis' romantic relationship and when he knew. Bradley refused to answer citing attorney client privilege.
"Mr. Bradley previously testified that the reason he left the firm was totally and completely covered by privilege. When asked by the state, he went into a factual scenario that, to my mind, I don't see how it relates to privilege at all. And so now I'm left wondering if Mr. Bradley has been properly interpreting privilege this entire time," the judge said.

Wow. Thanks for that insight. Just reminds me that there are trillions at stake if Trump wins.
And they will do whatever to keep that from happening.
But maintenance of order in the courtroom is ultimately the judge’s responsibility (with some delegated to the clerk and bailiff).
That would be my speculation as well.
After all...it was just “sympathetic, well-meaning” sex with her boyfriend.
That's why Fani was so pissed on the stand Thursday. She thought she was untouchable.

parody song.
It really was on backwards.
Liars need total recall.
All these “lawyers” have crappy memories
I listened to Friday’s testimony off and on. The state briefly brought in former governor Barnes. He politely said he wanted nothing to do with the upcoming **** show. He said he knew Wade while taking the stand while discussing his visit to the Fulton county DA’s office concerning a potential SP appointment. He was asked on what day that happened. He didn’t remember the date on the stand, but had his office checked his calendar and it was a week before Wade was appointed as a SP.
DEI slut takes down the most popular president in American history?
The case is NOT about having an affair. It is about using the prosecution to funnel huge sums of money to her lover so he’ll take her on trips and have sex with her. And then LYING UNDER OATH. Along with using cash to conceal the crime of getting kick-backs!
Disagree....from another thread:
“Look at the contour stitching. It follows the shoulders, the contours of the front of the body. It would look preposterous on the back. Dresses can be front or back zippered these days.”
And, that style of dress has been examined and shows the bow in front, as she wore it.
Others agree, too, this is making us look like racists.

I don’t see a zipper in the front, and the sash could be tied front or back if sewn into the side seams.
I have a couple of items with front zippers, a blouse and a dress. The zippers on those are prominent, and obviously part of the decoration.
Fani’s dress has an invisible zipper. You only see the pull at the top, just barely visible
To me, it sounded an awful lot like the judge was working for Fani at the hearing also.
Agree. Don’t read into my observation as an attempt to diminish what they have been able to do.
I am looking forward to seeing what they do next after the in camera review. The judge didnt seem pleased with the witness. And to hide his sexual assault payout makes it even worse.
I didn't.;-)
I thought it was interesting that Barnes also commended him as an organizer. As in compiling evidence, testimony, and logistics.
Not as a litigator.
She wasn't asked that question. Apparently, it was implied in the case paperwork that Fanni flailed around prior to questioning, and she wasn't going to put up with that!
I may be left field. Wouldn’t the case be handed off to the Prosecuting Attorney Council to find another prosecutor?
I would imagine AG Carr will stay away from this case.
Trump lawyer(s) don’t seem to have privilege. Why should these subversives have any.
