Doug Macgregor is the obvious choice for acting Secretary of Defense. The turtle would never give him a vote nor, of course, would a dem. Trump needs to line up multiple choices for each cabinet position. The ones we need will never be confirmed. Trump needs to name a new acting secretary every six months. The Senate can pound sand. What are they going to do, impeach him? It’d just be another unit on the impeachment/coup assembly that will be fired up again. Do the Richard Grenell technique. It’s the only way.
Ideally, Pubs would regain the majority in Senate and keep the majority in the House. I don't know what the odds are in November for that occurring. RATS will likely steal this election again anyway, or kill Trump. They can't allow him to take office again, no matter what. I have no faith in the electoral system anymore, and Republicans haven't been interested in election reform, not even after Gore tried to overturn the results in Florida in 2000. People forget we had to wait a month before we knew who the newly elected President was, and Republicans for the past 24 years have pretended nothing untoward ever happened in 2000, or 2020.
