The people pushing it should be tried and convicted for their civil rights crimes. Their sheer racist hatred might not be a crime but it is extremely immoral.
That is a key point. The decline of marriage, in various communities, is pushing them into entrenched disadvantage.
I had a diversity class at a prestigious hospital in 2005. I found it the height of insult as an educated professional in health care. Turned out to all be part of the process of walking away from the obscene evil of so called “health care.”

Im a retired firefighter from a big city. We had to go through “sensitivity training” and were asked right off the bat to say out loud any slang terms we knew for homosexuals. Wrong thing to ask a bunch of firefighters.
Needless to say the names just kept coming for like 15 minutes till the obviously butch coordinator broke in to stop it. Fun times…
