I predicted this about a week ago. Like all political parties, the AfD has some radical elements. But from what I can tell, they are at heart nationalists. And no a Deep State anywhere likes a nationalist.

Of course, look at Jan. 6th and its aftermath, with some of the protesters still in prison, unless I am mistaken.

The Deep State does not brook any criticism. On neither side of the Atlantic.
