I am very much in favor of you solving your southern border problem. It is destabilizing the US.
My only point contrary to your position, probably, is that this is a purely political problem, requiring little in the way of resources to “solve”. All it requires is a change of mind on the part of whomever is in charge of your executive branch (I do not assume that person is President Biden). That is it, its very simple, it can all be brought back to the status quo as of 2020, with a word.
You are frustrated by their stupid intransigence. But that is what it is.
Ukraine is not “precious” in itself, other than to the Ukrainians. It is however extremely important with reference to the global order, as it has been since 1945, or if you like since 1991. That is important to all 8 billion of us.
Many of you dont see the big picture because you are in a state of rage over matters closer to home. But there is more than one important and distressing problem the US should be dealing with, and looking at it emotionally doesnt help.
