Or we could fund America and get interlocking fields of fire on our southern border.

So here the choice US Voters in 2024

Do you want the well being of ordinary Americans to be our US Government’s 1st priority or its last?

Forget all the media noise, forget all the pollical game playing, forget who is giving who their endorsement, that is the simple choice for 2024

To Biden:

There is nothing more “unAmerican” than stealing an election, you filthy illegitimate stink pile puppet.

How about protecting Americans from millions of foreign invaders? Spare me the lecturing about American values, you old decrepit pedophile maggot. /spit

Peter Doocy really needs to ask biden what the MAGA acronym stands for, and then ask him what’s wrong with that.

To me it’s such an obvious question to ask and I can’t believe Republicans haven’t figured out a way to get it posed to taterhead.

They are all taking Trump’s remarks out of context. The truth is, he has been proven right by events.

His point was simple. If you are afraid of Russia, fund your militaries and do not make yourselves dependent on Russian oil.

If you are not afraid of Russia, then what are we doing here? Why do we need NATO?

Now, they are finally funding their militaries the way they should have from the beginning. And sure enough, Russia did try to blackmail them on energy, just as Trump warned.

He was drugged up on something. Same pattern; start normal, get the talking point out, get angry, begin rambling, start mumbling and whispering, shuffle away.

This was a campaign speech pure and simple. Pretty desperate for Feb 13.

He will soon find he is on the wrong side of this issue.

Not that ANYONE on his side of the issue cares.

Republicans in the House better be paying attention, they are up for election this year and every two years thereafter.

Biden is an ah*le, getting the Senate to further fund Ukraine via vote on Super Bowl Sunday when everyone is distracted. But not fixing our border! Go Trump 2024!

Biden is feeling the unraveling of some rather involved bunko as the days pass. His advancing senility is likely contributing to a very short emotional fuse. Sad for the country, as under the Obama-Biden “fundamental transformation” schemes, we are ailing. As to Biden, “karma” is well on its way.

A lot of people here are in lockstep with Biden. They agree with him 100% on NATO and Ukraine funding.
It’s un-American not to “slobber Ukraine”, the epicenter of nazism in today’s world.

I’m surprised Biden actually got the players right, I would have expected he would have accused Trump of abandoning West Germany and siding with Khrushchev.

reckless yes, but dangerous no

If Trump hyperbole really threatens NATO, then there’s not much to NATO.

First of all, NATO is a Senate-approved treaty. As a Senate-approved treaty (not an executive agreement), it isn’t clear if a President has the power to break a [Senate-approved] treaty without the approval of Congress:

“Presently, there is no Supreme Court ruling on whether the President has the power to break a treaty without the approval of Congress; it remains unclear which branch of government is empowered by the Constitution to terminate a treaty, much less the procedure for doing so.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_Clause

Second, since making his reckless statement, Trump has dialed it back. He says he’s trying to invigorate NATO. He says that because of his, shall we say, rhetoric, the European members of NATO have promised to meet their obligation.

Everybody should bear in mind that Trump isn’t a politician or a diplomat. He’s a businessman. In particular, a deal-maker. He’s always looking for a better deal, whether with positive or negative inducements.

Also, what Trump says about NATO is correct. The Europeans have been getting a subsidy from the U.S. for years. That was o.k. during the immediate post-war people, when Europe was in shambles; and, even later, facing a huge USSR and Warsaw Pact.

Nowadays, the democracies of Europe are wealthy and the Warsaw Pact and even the USSR are gone. Russia is a pathetic country compared to what had been prior to 1991. The ratio of NATO to Russia is more like 10-to-1 than 1-to-1. If each of the NATO countries does its share, we will have no problem with Russia no matter that Putin is delusional. It’s only when the Europeans allow themselves to be weak, thinking we will defend them, that NATO will be weak because us won’t defend a bunch of sniveling cowards that won’t do squat to defend themselves.

I myself have had it up to here with Iraqis, Afghans and others who think uncle sap will defend them. They won’t defend themselves against ISIS or the Taliban, the heck with them. Ultimately, Biden’s is the one who is playing Putin’s game by allowing the Europeans to shirk their responsibilities under the NATO agreement.

Only thing ‘dangerous’ about Trump NATO remarks is to let them keep getting a free ride with our weapons and military he’s right 100%.

Biden wants to funnel money into more places then Ukraine high kickbacks.

Everyone is a priority to him except the US. He's saying America is the leader of the world by our tax dollars they spend.

Biden says, My God man what will they think if we don't fund all these foreign causes. They don't care what American taxpayers think about anything.

Our country is becoming 3rd world while we pay for everyone but US.
