It’s the same apathy and preoccupation among the populace now as it was back then. The difference now is... America is under the rule and control of the same type of cretins that were ok with the elimination of over 6 million Jews back then. So yeah... it’s probably going to be much worse.
And of course you have the usual suspects on the left that either whitewash, change or completely ignore certain events in history... which might serve to keep bad things from happening again. They have their agenda, after all.
