Fair enough.
I’m not trying to pick a fight, but I want to understand more fully just what the objection is.
It’s clear she WAS born on American soil to parents who were NOT at that time American citizens. That does not seem to be in dispute at all, and is readily available for anyone to discover. So the only rationale I can think of for her not being a “natural born” citizen is that her parents were not citizens at the time she was born.
Am I understanding that correctly? If so, then in your understanding, would both parents need to be citizens at the time of her birth or would it be sufficient for only one of them to be a citizen when she was born?
yes and yes,
i believe you have outlined the problem well.
and also the part you mentioned previously, that despite the constitutional principles involved that nothing was done about Obama and nothing was done about Harris as VP and nothing was really done to stop a couple others from running like (and I like him) Cruz or I think Haley but I have to check on her status and frankly I havent had time or interest sufficient to do it
my objections are not confined to the disregard of the US Constitution in elections. my concerns are that the US Constitution including its (to my way of thinking, key) Bill of Rights have been violated or ignored or perverted several times regarding several important clauses.
There’s little point in having a Bill of Rights or a constitution if those in power feel free to just trash it at will.
that’s my beef.
anyway, you may agree or not agree at your pleasure.
thanks for your interest, though, in the subject matter. I wish more people were interested in restoring and maintaining our Bill of Rights and constitutional governance generally.
best regards,
