Like most conservatives, I loved Reagan, he was the right man at the right time. But at this point it’s been 40 years since he last ran for President in 1984 and more than 20 since he passed away. The point is, bringing up Reagan and discussing what Reagan would do or not do today is only marginally more relevant than trying to guess what George Washington would do. It’s simply a different world than it was 40 years ago.

Neither Reagan nor Washington was god, but their takes on matters transcends the vicissitudes of transient political gyrations. As Scalia said of the Constitution, wisdom is “enduring.”

In 1980 whites were 80%. Now we’re 58%.
The end.

“It’s simply a different world than it was 40 years ago.”

If Reagan were alive I have no doubt he would be standing tall for the U.S. Constitution and for reason.

I don’t think liberals claiming we need to print another 33 trillion dollars to solve inflation would confuse President Reagan.

There is still a need for patriotic Americans like presidents Reagan and Washington; now more than ever.
