This is what Democrats and their front groups do, the latch on to an issue, gather signatures by any means necessary and put something on the ballot.
When was the last time you heard of a Republican front group getting behind a state constitutional amendment, something like hand counting ballots, same day voting, banning mail in voting, etc.
I live in Florida, the other amendment that might get onto the ballot this fall is legalizing recreational marijuana, we already have medical marijuana stores popping up everywhere.
