Residents along the Niagara River and Lake Ontario are calling on officials to take action after they say they’ve seen an increase sighting of suspicious vehicles, and trespassing in their backyards.
Since this past November, U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Niagara Falls Station along with state and local law enforcement have arrested numerous individuals from over 20 incidents of illegal Niagara River crossings.
On Thursday, those agencies provided an update on what’s being done to solve the problem.
“We have always had rafts and people crossing the river. We’ve always had drugs crossing the river. Now, what has changed between now and then? Why are we having this discussion? It’s the frequency,” said Niagara Falls Border Patrol Agent-in-Charge Brady Waikel.
During an open the public meeting Thursday, Niagara Falls Border Patrol said the last illegal crossing they intercepted was Thursday morning. They say these crossings usually happen at night, typically involving small groups of adult men.

Those who are trying to move here know which country is the best, even if the far-left commie RATS are trying to bring it down. You sure as crap don’t see anyone migrating to the Middle East, Africa or those sewers down in the Caribbeans where Americans cruise to in order to spend their money.
I assume they’re smart enough to do that north of the falls? That river moves fast south of them.

Was at the meeting yesterday. The town hall had limited capacity of 160. I estimated about 100 folks could not get in, including my wife and myself. However, we were all given a link to listen live via Facebook (link below).
I had planned to publish a report about this - the fact that we’re dealing with illegals up north around these parts. From the meeting, I can also confirm my wife and I was confronted by one of these invaders back in 2012. Spanish speaking kid came to the door soaking wet wanting to use the phone. I suspect his ‘coyote’ didn’t show due to the CPB vehicle parked along West River Rd in Grand Island.
Take what you want from this meeting. But I can tell you when the folks were all waiting in line, everyone was on the same page and know what this is all about. In fact, it felt kind of comforting being around a bunch of like-minded peeps.

Of course not. Contacted the local Sheriff’s office to assist him. He vanished before they got there.
