The Biden economy will play a major role in the 2024 election. Since the Democrats cannot admit that Biden is to blame in any way, they are training their criticism on corporate greed. Shrinkflation is a very real thing, but it’s a market reaction to current conditions, not a strategy by scheming corporations.
Enter Elizabeth Warren, who is actually fundraising off this concept.
She recently sent out a campaign email that gives the game away:
Doritos, Oreos, and toilet paper
Have you ever finished a bag of Doritos and thought, “Whoa — there should have been a lot more chips in here”?
You were right.
From Doritos to Oreos to toilet paper and beyond, big corporations have been cutting down on how much they put in a bag, in a box, or on a roll — without cutting their prices. In fact, they sometimes charge MORE. For less.

Then we changed things. We got on a zero-dollar budget, we made paying off debt our top priority and we eliminated unnecessary spending. In short, we started to live below not above our means, we finally grew up.
Today we are 100% debt free, mortgage paid off and we own everything we have in our possession. If we think we want something we think long and hard before spending the money.
In spite of much higher costs for consumer goods, we are saving north of 40% of our income. I’m maxing out on my 401K at the 50+ year old provision, spouse is putting 15% in her 403B total that is $44,000.00/year into our retirement accounts, another $18K into savings and our brokerage account. Next year we will buy a new (late model used) car paying in cash.
It’s all simple math to be honest. Simple math and common sense and a bit of old fashion self-control. And not residing in California!
Princess Gray Beaver drink um fire water, go on war path.
No peace in wig wam tonight.
Poor husband. Lizzie get um drunk. No nookie tonight!
If she bought doritos it would be the Costco size which is huge and nobody could finish it. Thus is how we can tell she doesn’t eat doritos.
Nice try Lizzy. Go back to your wigwam.
My suggestion, buy the store brand equivalents. Many are just as good or better than the big brands.

Tye downsizing of package contents Began and Started with Barry the Muslim and his Hope and Change BS.
Taking the silver out of our money in the 60s freed up the government to print as much money as it wants, and it has been doing that for at least the last 60 years.
Will Warren go after the greedy Postal Service as well? When I was a nipper stamps cost 3¢ and now are 68¢
I am researching my purchases in 2023 vs 2022/2021 & earlier.

Biden claiming 3.4 % inflation is a TOTAL LIE.
Will post my findings soon. Working on another project first.
Remember, this pea-brain was one of the leading contenders for Treasury Secretary when Biden formed his regime. Fortunately, they found someone who trips of Magic Mushrooms. /sarc
I purchased two ice cream sandwiches at a convenience store last week.
Not even “standard” size ones...they seemed slightly smaller in dimensions.
$8.00
Eight dollars for two small ice cream sandwiches.
Here’s what Princess Stupid Indian doesn’t get...
When inflation’s high, food companies drop former weights to help consumers maintain meal balance under new ‘inflation’ budgets.
When Biden’s blow out economic inflation insanity stated hurting customers - not only did companies reduce weights but some grocery stores started selling eggs in 6 pack containers rather than the usual ‘dozen’ size.
Why?
Because many households have a set amount they can spend on groceries and food money has to be stretched. Rather than two eggs per person for breakfast - a one egg scramble takes it’s place with an extra piece of toast added. If a box of cereal goes to eight bucks a box or a sized down version goes for $4.99 the sized down version allows for families to still provide similar breakfasts while adding cheaper fill to the meal. (Extra piece of cinnamon toast with that?)
Elizabeth Warren doesn’t understand American families and their budgets because as an ‘elite’ she buys whatever she feels like buying with no concern for the reality most American live under. In short Elizabeth Warren is an insensitive white liberal elite jerk. AND food companies are attempting to help American families.
