If Ukraine can force out its ethnic Russians by language mandates to make plum places for 100% Ukrainians, then all other areas might try to force out ethnic Russians.

The Russian Federation doesn’t have places in Moscow and Saint Petersburg for 25 million Russian ethnic refugees.

People in Moscow and Saint Petersburg hate the war probably, but they know that they’ll hate living doubled up in tiny apartments in a style that would shock even comrade Doctor Zhivago.
