Word is that McClintock voted against impeaching Mayorkas because of timing, not opposition.

The Border bill came out the same day and it was so bad that he felt like it was tactically a bad idea to vote for impeachment at the time. It was better for the Border bill fallout to hit before voting for impeachment.
