Ukraine has encircled a large portion of the Russian army in Avdiivka, and are currently wiping out the forces in the pocket and taking Russian POWs. Russia is trying to capture the road of life into Bakhmut, but this is complicated by the encirclement in the southern part of the city.

February 6, 2024Marching quickly under a cloudy sky on Sunday, Russian troops infiltrated Avdiivka.
Four months after a pair of Russian field armies, together with 40,000 troops and thousands of vehicles, first attacked toward Avdiivka—a Ukrainian stronghold just northwest of Russian-occupied Donetsk in eastern Ukraine—the long, bloody campaign may be culminating.
“The situation in the city has become critical,” Ukrainian journalist Andriy Tsaplienko wrote.
If the campaign does culminate, and the Russians prevail, it will be clear who largely is to blame: Russia-aligned Republicans in the U.S. Congress, who last fall began blockading U.S. aid to Ukraine and, as a consequence, starved Ukrainian troops of the ammunition they depend on to match the Russians’ own firepower.

Senior News ReporterRussia has suffered huge losses of equipment and troops in what has been described by Kyiv as "meat assaults," but Ukrainian Telegram channels have been giving pessimistic assessments on the chances that Kyiv's forces could manage to hold onto the town.
The Telegram channel Ukraine Fights posted on Sunday that "the situation in the city has become critical," adding that Russian attack aircraft had entered the city from the northeast and Russian troops had bypassed Ukrainian battle formations and gained a foothold in the buildings.
"This means that they are hundreds of meters away from the main logistical artery of the Ukrainian defenders," the post said, according to a translation. "The fate of Avdiivka is being decided."

🔴 One observes that this "Enforcer" (Leaf Spring Army, by a University of Alabama student) video had been "Streamed live 4 hours ago" at the time of my early AM comment (begun typing circa 2:45 AM). Being a three-hour long stream, streamed "five hours ago" as of 3:00 AM according to YouTube which updates regularly tells much.
🔴 It means she could NOT have viewed the whole three hour live stream, which she posted to Free Republic at "10:57:31 PM" and then commented "G'Nite all" at 11:53:42 PM (comment # 14). One hour later than when posted, and all within these last four hours. She could not possibly have viewed the LIVE STREAM.
🔴 This is outright promotion of the monetized Alabama-based YouTuber's video without possibly having viewed it all. It is also her opportunity to comment with Censor.net info which is Ukrainian-sourced, as well as a CBN News short, from another United States-based YouTuber.

You've certainly done your homework, but it looks like UMCRevMom can't be bothered to do hers. It proves she doesn't actually watch or vet any of the crap she posts links to, which makes it even more believable, that she is being paid to do it. If you're going to put stuff out there for public consumption, you might want to make sure that you actually watched it yourself before you share it.
Thanks too for the link to Rocco DiPippo's post back in January. I never saw it at the time. When he mentioned being sent the Freep Mail in error, it reminded me of the similar situation last June, where UMCRevMom mistakenly sent an abuse request to Freeper Allegra, when she thought she had sent it to the mods. UMCRevMom was asking the mods to remove one of Allegra's comments, and one of Rocco DiPippo's. The conversation starts at Allegra's comment at #75 on the article thread link below. She was writing to UMCRevMom at comment #73, which you'll notice was removed by mods. Comment #73 was actually UMCRevMom's request to have Allegra's and Rocco's comments removed. She realized her posting error, then asked the mods to have it removed.
Allegra's comment at #75 is: "Did you accidentally post your Report Abuse report to me in the forum instead of to the Mods? 😄😂"
The comments about her being outed for censoring Freepers on her threads continues on for a while. She has a heavy finger when it comes to the abuse button.
