the gun was bought for shooting range visits only...they didnt just hand him the gun and say here ya go kid, do what you want. What a absurd conviction...guess you gotta be a mind reader now to know what a persons gonna do....you can apply this to any crime now...
Agree. The prosecutors wanted to move toward criminalizing gun ownership like in the UK. And they managed to sell it to a jury. When you go to trial you are innocent, but the jury sees you sitting at the defense table with your lawyer and thinks you have to have done SOMETHING to get into that spot. So one strike against you before you even start.
