Welcome to the UK where it’s now official government policy that you CAN’T publish “misinformation”, but The Guardian, the BBC, Disney and Netflix CAN.
Yes, it’s true – the recently signed “Online Safety Act” brands the publication of “false information” a criminal offense punishable by up to a year in prison…
…unless you’re an MSM outlet, when it’s totally fine.
Think even the corrupt & bloated criminal class that rules over us would never dare be that blatant?
Take a look at section 179 making it illegal to publish false information with intent to cause harm:

…and then look at section 180, which exempts all MSM outlets from this new law :

…and that’s without even getting into OfCom’s “select committee”, or how they choose to define “misinformation” (s. 152)
Welcome to the modern definition of “freedom of speech”, where the MSM are directly and explicitly permitted to “knowingly publish false information with intent to cause non-trivial harm”, and you can be sent to jail for a year for calling out their lies.
Oh, and it looks like our friends across the pond might not be far behind. The Big Tech Senate hearings started yesterday, and social media executives are already throwing their support behind the new “Kids Online Safety Act”.
With the EU’s own Digital Services Act coming into force later this month, and all the focus on “misinformation and disinformation” at Davos two weeks ago, we can see the real crackdown on internet free speech is about to kick into gear.
Good times.

Text can be printed on one side of a sheet of paper.
That paper can be folded up into a small rectangle.
The face of that rectangle can be spray painted a common car color.
That paper rectangle can be taped to a passenger door of a car parked in say Lowe’s or Home Depot with a matching color.
The EU’s meme tax, link ban, Digital Security Act were previews of coming attractions.
No doubt coming soon to America.
Have fun with it. I asked Siri "What's the best Christmas gift for a 60 year old Crack whore?" The internet responded in various ways for a few hours of pop-ups.
And remember, if your last name it "Tuttle" change it fast.
The law there is gonna have a field day arresting person after person after person who breaks the internet safety laws of their nation now, while looking the other way when Muslims and radical liberal criminals do their thing.
All over the world nations are turning on their own citizens while embracing Islam and radical terrorist groups
The writing is on the wall
bttt
As far as I know the constitution says that I can publish or say anything I want. And that if somebody comes to try to stop me, I can shoot them with my musket. At least that’s how it was last time I checked. I hope they don’t get any funny ideas about trying that here.
According to Prince Harry, the first amendment is “bonkers”. Sounds like somebody is still upset about the 1770s. You know, when we kicked their ass.
The idea that the US is free is nonsense.
The “Helen Lovejoys” of the US are winning.
The other day in the U.K. five officers were involved to deal with a woman who was singing ‘Amazing Grace’ in public. She was told that it was illegal to sing hymns outside of Church property. The next day an openly pro-Hamas protest march went off with out any problems from police even though Hamas is officially labeled a terrorist organization and it is illegal in the U.K. to support it.
On the other hand dozens or hundreds of angry muslims might well be a bit more dangerous to deal with than a hymn-singing woman.
Yep- the woman singing might make someone smile in the uk, and that apparently is agaisnt the law there, but violent hate-filled rhetoric by muslims who have vowed to take over the nation? No problem evidently
We’ve had similar happen here in the US too- a pastor was standing on a sidewalk shouting out bible, verses during a gay parade, and several cops came and arrested him falsely claiming that he was breaking the law. However, thankfully, he was released and it was acknowledged that he did not break the law.
I doubt the cops thay violated his rights were held accountable for doing so though. He should have sued in order to send the message that “no, it is not alright to arrest people because you hate christians and ehat they are saying”
ABCMSNBCCNNFOXSeeBS don’t need no stinkin’ ruling.
