The skits they did back in the 1970s would be banned on todays SNL. I remember one show Burt Reynolds was hosting and they did a skit based on the movie "Deliverance" and Reyolds was in a canoe with two gay guys decked out in gay S&M leather outfits paddling in a canoe and Garrett Morris says in a gay voice "So where are these hillbilly boys? I hope they play rough like you said" lol lol. Right there the LBGT Nazis would flip out.
Or John Belushis Samurai dry cleaners would be seen as "insensitive to Japanese" or Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor calling each other racial epithets, no WAY would that air today!
