Unearthed clip shows Ilhan Omar admit to Somali audience that her plan is to prop up Somalia in US Congress then return back

Guys, why is this woman still allowed in the US Congress?

Ilhan Omar, who has been revealed in recent days by her own public admission to be a foreign agent, who is alleged to have committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother, who dismissed 9/11 as some people doing something, that lady just gave away the game.

...

I am an American migrant in US Congress. But I am a Somali girl. A girl with your lineage, a girl with your language, a girl with your religion. That was a young child taken from her country and wishes to live there and share with its people.

I am hopeful that in the future me and my children will be able to raise our kids in this land, where I was born and raised. To make that possible there is a lot that WE need [sic] work on together to make our land a more stable and prosperous place.

She's a Somali girl, in the Somali world. Life in Congress, it is bonkers!

American Somlilander and journalist Dr. Caaro unearthed and translated the above clip.

Omar doesn't even have dual loyalties! She has ONE loyalty.

She is loyal to Somalia and not the United States.

Her butt needs to go. Yesterday!

“Why do we let these savages into this country?”

She is not a savage. She speaks rather well even though what she says is often not compatible with US well-being.

So is Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and as far as I been able to determine almost every Republican on the Hill. I can only name one exception - MTG.

American military intervention in Somalia (2007–present)

Since the late 2000s, the United States has militarily supported the Transitional Federal Government and then the Federal Government of Somalia. U.S. military actions in Somalia date back to the 1980s, but following the September 11th attacks, military action was justified as counterterrorism. The Obama administration and the Trump administration conducted strikes by drone and fighter aircraft, advisory missions, training, provided intelligence, and attacked al-Shabaab militants. Two U.S. special operations personnel, two contractors, one US Army soldier, and a CIA paramilitary officer have died during operations in Somalia.

Robert Moore, a public policy advisor, has highlighted a number of justifications advanced by proponents of US intervention in Somalia, including the 2001 AUMF which authorizes the President to use force against the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks and their allies (al-Shabbab declared an alliance with al-Qaeda in 2012). The belief that military force should be used for humanitarian purposes, especially in mass-casualty conflicts (a doctrine known as Responsibility to Protect) is also cited, with the argument being made that international intervention could have prevented much of the bloodshed of the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. Moore is critical of these justifications.[25]

In late 2020, US President Donald Trump announced that he would pull most US troops out of Somalia by 15 January 2021.[26] On 17 January 2021, the Department of Defense announced that it had completed its troop drawdown.[27] However, it has continued training allied forces, use of limited airstrikes, and special operations.

In May 2022, according to a government spokesman, President Joe Biden accepted a request from the Department of Defense to redeploy US soldiers to Somalia to combat the al-Shabaab insurgents.[28]

US airstrikes on Somalia
Since 2007, the Department of Defense (United States) has targeted militant groups, mainly al-Shabaab, within Somalia using airstrikes. These have included targeted drone strikes and United States Navy missile strikes. Special forces teams have conducted raids and acted as advisors. Airstrikes targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant increased dramatically under the Trump administration.

Calendar No. 405

117th CONGRESS
2d Session
S. 3861

To require the Secretary of State to submit annual reports to Congress on the assistance provided to Somaliland and to conduct a feasibility study, in coordination with the Secretary of Defense, on establishing a security partnership with Somaliland, without recognizing Somaliland as an independent state.

IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES
March 17, 2022
Mr. Risch (for himself, Mr. Van Hollen, Mr. Rounds, and Mr. Wicker) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations

June 14, 2022
Reported by Mr. Menendez, with an amendment

[Strike out all after the enacting clause and insert the part printed in italic]

A BILL
To require the Secretary of State to submit annual reports to Congress on the assistance provided to Somaliland and to conduct a feasibility study, in coordination with the Secretary of Defense, on establishing a security partnership with Somaliland, without recognizing Somaliland as an independent state.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the “Somaliland Partnership Act”.

SEC. 2. SENSE OF CONGRESS.

It is the sense of Congress that—

(1) a stronger relationship between the United States and Somaliland would provide numerous, mutually beneficial, strategic opportunities due to Somaliland’s—

(A) geographic location in the Horn of Africa and next to the Gulf of Aden;

(B) democratic credentials, including peaceful transfers of power following elections; and

(C) relative stability in the Horn of Africa;

(2) Somaliland’s security situation, level of development, and other challenges differ significantly from the situation in Mogadishu and other regions of Somalia, which necessitates—

(A) a different approach to engagement, assistance, and travel by personnel of the Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development; and

(B) the avoidance of a “one-size-fits-all” policy approach to Somalia; and

(3) the status of Somaliland should not serve as an obstacle for deeper and meaningful cooperation that will serve the mutual interests of our two governments.

SEC. 3. DEFINED TERM.

In this Act, the term “Somaliland” means the territory that—

(1) received its independence from the United Kingdom on June 26, 1960, before the creation of the Somali Republic;

(2) has been a self-declared independent and sovereign state since 1991 that is not internationally recognized; and

(3) exists as a semi-autonomous region of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

SEC. 4. REPORT ON FOREIGN ASSISTANCE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES IN SOMALILAND.

(a) Defined Term.—In this section, the term “appropriate congressional committees” means—

(1) the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; and

(2) the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives.

(b) Report.—

(1) IN GENERAL.—Not later than September 30, 2022, and annually thereafter until the date that is 5 years after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, shall submit a report to the appropriate congressional committees that, with respect to the most recently concluded 12-month period—

(A) describes United States foreign assistance to Somaliland, including—

(i) the value of such assistance (in United States dollars);

(ii) the source from which such assistance was funded;

(iii) the names of the programs through which such assistance was administered;

(iv) the implementing partners through which such assistance was provided;

(v) the sponsoring bureau of the United States Government; and

(vi) if the assistance broadly targeted the Federal Republic of Somalia, the portion of such assistance that was—

(I) explicitly intended to support Somaliland; and

(II) ultimately employed in Somaliland;

(B) details the staffing and responsibilities of the Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development supporting foreign assistance, diplomatic relations, consular services, and security initiatives in Somaliland, including the location of such personnel (duty station) and their corresponding bureau;

Rep. Ilhan Omar Hails Debt Relief for Somalia
December 17, 2019
Press Release

WASHINGTON–Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) issued the following statement on securing debt relief for Somalia in H.R. 1158 – the DHS Cyber Hunt and Incident Response Teams Act.

“I am thrilled we were able to secure debt relief for Somalia today. Somalia continues to hold crushing amounts of debt—which holds back the economy and keeps millions of Somalis in poverty. This doesn’t just have an impact on Somalis in Somalia, but on the thousands of Somali- Americans who live in my district and have family in the region.

“This debt relief package is a major milestone that validates the incredible progress that Somalia has made in the past several years. This should not be seen as the end, but the beginning of renewed diplomatic engagement with the country. There is still more that must be done when it comes to strengthening democracy, respect for human rights, and the relationship between Villa Somalia, regional governments and the people. The U.S. can play a major role in all of this.

“Debt relief is a step in the right direction, and I look forward to continuing to work for the free, peaceful, democratic Somalia we all want to see.”
