Tax rates, standard deductions are all inflation adjusted. The inflation from 2021 to 2023 is about 10%. The inflation adjusted amount would increase the 1,600 to 1,760 or rounded to 1,800.
In addition, the extra cost to feed these kids must be way more than $100.
