For a brief time, I lived down the street from the Laurel Shopping Center; we referred to it as the George Wallace Memorial Shopping Center.
I verified before I posted and noticed that the well over 90% black vote for him is getting extremely hard to find online, it is still there but it took me a long time to find various sources and I knew about it already.
