Having lived in MN for 23 years until 2 years ago and being a GOP chair of a large conservative county, that saw Hillary take suburban votes in 2016, Biden grow that to turning red to purple and purple to blue in 2020, in the face of riots and a disasterous economy, AND seeing the red base of MN leave and move and disintegrate, the polling is absolutely false. You can’t win MN unless you win some aspects of the 7 county twin cities metro and carve off large areas of Duluth. None are happening.
We shall see how it plays out.
I think 2024 is going to surprise a lot of people in a lot of places.
2020 it is not.
Biden is toxic, Third Parties are back on the ballot, and Trump, for all their attempts to portray him as toxic, is riding higher than he ever has.
Will see how it all plays out, but I would not put money on MN being a lock for anyone. Dems may pull it out, but if they do it will be by a slim margin.
