More zeeper BS.
Here's the truth:
According to data released as of July 1, 2023, the number of NATO countries which have reached or exceeded the spending level was only 11 out of 30 members with armed forces. The list encompasses the U.S., the UK, Poland, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as well as new member Finland, showing overall that Eastern European nations have been more attuned to military threats in Europe arising again. While this means that only around a third of members are reaching the 2024 goal, the number was up from nine as of mid-2022. New additions are Romania and Hungary, where military spending as compared to GDP rose substantially in 2023 opposite 2022. Despite recent gains, larger and wealthier NATO members stayed behind the goal - often by a large margin. This includes Germany, Canada, Italy and Spain.

"Russian banks made 3.3 trillion rubles, or $36.8 billion, last year, marking a record high, the country's central bank announced on Tuesday.
The performance came as “somewhat of a surprise,” said Alexander Danilov, the head of Russia's central bank's banking regulation department, according to the Financial Times.
The earnings are a massive jump from the sector's 200 billion-ruble profit in 2022 — when profits tanked 90% from a year earlier amid Western sanctions over Russia's invasion of Ukraine"

Your graph confirms what I said. Thank you.
That indeed many are reaching about 2% some near 4%.
Also:
Article from 2020, and it only gets better from there... :
“Ten NATO members now meet 2% defense spending benchmark, but not Germany”
But as you know, Germany will now inject 100 billion Euros for their military, it has not been accounted for in any graphs yet.”
AND:
France is at 1.95% right now and will be over 2% this year 2024.
>Your graph confirms what I said. Thank you.
That indeed many are reaching about 2% some near 4%.<
No, you’re misrepresenting what you originally posted.
Here it is:
“Thanks to Trump, many EU countries now meet their 2% GDP spending for military expenditures. Some are even at 4%, outpacing America!”
Look at the list: Not ONE country is at 4%.
ONLY Poland is outpacing our country. We are at 3.49%, Poland at 3.90%.
ONLY 10 countries, (not including America) out of 30, have reached or exceeded spending level.
Not exactly “thriving” as you claim.
Again, as I said, Ten Important NATO countries are now over 2%, many others around 1.7 / 1.9% (thus getting very close to 2% now), France will be beyond 2% this year. Germany adding 100 billion Euros imminently, etc... THAT is the very definition of the word: MANY!
Thus, and indeed, NATO has started its thriving process.
Its crystal clear.
When I said 4% (Poland) you say that’s wrong because it’s actually 3.9%. Common! you are truly grasping at straws here! :). I rounded it to 4% because what the hell does 0.1 make in the general debate? And anyhow, 3.9% (as you precisely like top put it) is even better than what America does. Right?
As I said, NATO is now thriving, to say the least. And this year and the next will see the upward trend for NATO continue.
All this success would be unthinkable not that long ago.
BUT!
It’s not all!
It’s not only about money contributions that shows NATO’s thriving. It also has to do with NATO LAND AREA expansion.
Finland is now part of NATO, Sweden is expected to finalize its membership within a month or two.

“Finland’s NATO membership doubles alliance’s border with Russia in major blow to Vladimir Putin”
Thus, as I said:
Putin’s miscalculation is the best thing that EVER happened to NATO, since its creation, by far.
Putin made NATO Great Again.
Your first post: “Some are even at 4%, outpacing America!”
Your second post: “some near 4%.”
Your third post: “When I said 4% (Poland) you say that’s wrong because it’s actually 3.9%. Common! you are truly grasping at straws here! :). I rounded it to 4% because what the hell does 0.1 make in the general debate?”
You go from “some are at” to “some are near” to “I rounded it to 4%”.
Stop with the weasel words already. NONE are at 4%.
You said that not many NATO countries are at 2%.
While your very own chart you posted showed that as many as TEN NATO countries are already attaining that number!
TEN is the very definition of MANY.
And you stay suspiciously silent on this:

Putin’s miscalculation is the best thing that EVER happened to NATO, since its creation, by far.
Focus on the facts my friend. And look at the big picture.
The rumor is a creation of social media and is not true.
Zeepers hardest hit.
