Vivek Ramaswamy uncorked his most bizarre election conspiracy theory to date on Monday, suggesting that the NFL playoffs may be rigged in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs to give Taylor Swift more national air time ahead of an eventual endorsement of Joe Biden this fall.
The former White House hopeful shared his dizzying theory in a post to X, responding to a post about Swift allegedly coming out as “a super liberal in 2020” all of a sudden—despite Swift having endorsed Democrats as early as 2018.
“I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month,” wrote Ramaswamy, who dropped his presidential bid this month and endorsed Donald Trump. “And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months.”
Swift, who is dating the Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, has featured prominently on national broadcasts during Chiefs games since late September. Sunday was no different for the pop star, who was shown on CBS’ broadcast after nearly every Kelce highlight and was filmed on the field with her beau as they celebrated him clinching a spot in next month’s Super Bowl.
That newfound attention during NFL games has drawn the ire of many online, and some Republicans, like Ramaswamy, are beginning to suggest it’s somehow all one big political conspiracy—even as Swift herself has been shown visibly displeased with the extra attention.
Much of the right-wing disdain for the couple initially stemmed from Kelce’s endorsement deals with Bud Light and Pfizer, a pair of companies that have become embroiled in the Republican culture wars recently.

Is it love or is it convenience? I don’t know why it should bother me or anyone else but it does. I guess it’s because they ENJOY the public display they put on.. Something lacking in people who need constant recognition.
I’ve had to go in search of her songs and I heard NOTHING worth spending time on. How is she different from Madonna? I was prepared not to like Lady GAGA but her singing isn’t half bad.
With Swift it’s unrecognizable lyrics, (the same with Madonna), a lot of chord strumming on a guitar - haven’t heard her play the piano but I hear she does - better I hope than the guitar.
She is a celebrity because of the $$$$ she’s made but what else? Is that what we judge people by? Is Lady GAGA known for that - or even Madonna? They were both talked about because of their ridiculous costumes but I don’t hear anyone talking about TS’s outfits which are every bit ridiculous. to me she’s a teenybopper!!!
And HIM?? I look at him and think he should be ashamed of himself - a grown man I know and not that much difference in their ages but there aren’t any NORMAL women that attract him?
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way - not quite - she needs to tone down the lipstick - I will drop the subject.

I’m old enough to remember when this country had GOOD TALENT and the size of their bank accounts weren’t important.
I have never heard her music.
A friend of mine used to work some of her security. He said her real talent was that she is a very smart and shrewd businesswoman, and an incredible marketer (which is the be-all and end-all of selling a product; and the product is HER).
She’s pretty, so that doesn’t hurt.

The Swift-Kelce relationship is an obvious fraud — totally contrived for the purpose of selling products for both her and the NFL.
Of that I have no doubt. But as an election year stunt? I am dubious.

I could not believe, the other day, when the Rock radio station I listen to in my truck played Dolly Parton’s, “Jolene”, on the radio. Her, not the creepy wannabe.

This whole dating thing is a publicity stunt to get more people to watch football. A model was offered money to date of football player.
I do not think the NFL HAD to fix the AFC or NFC Championship game this year. Lamar sucked again in the big game. Campbell made stupid decisions that cost his team 6 points and potentially the game.
Just like stupid plays by the Bills Josh Allen and their coach the previous week got the Chiefs to the AFC Championship game.
However, IF the game WAS on the line, I think that the NFL would do everything possible to keep Taylor Swift on TV during the Super Bowl.
Especially since they have already stated that she already made them an additional $332 MILLION dollars this season.
I never thought we would see another QB as consistently as good as Brady in my life. However, Mahomes is as good if not better. He certainly is a better scrambler. He is just as cool under pressure though too. He never gets that deer in the headlights look like so many others get when the pressure is on. He also does not throw the ball into triple coverage or long balls downfield that have very low completion percentage.
He makes good decisions under pressure. I have also always liked Travis Kelcy. I do not think he is as good as Gronk in his prime, but he is certainly more durable than Gronkowski ever was. Again, making him one of the best TEs to ever play the game. The over saturation of his relationship with Taylor Swift is obnoxious and annoying, but apparently there are millions of younger girls/women tuning in to the NFL just to get a glimpse of TS.
I have seen quite a few news articles and TV segments about her and the election and I don’t think it is really about where Taylor Swift’s political views are, but more about convincing her fans (and others who have no real opinions on her but may be sympathetic) that conservatives and republicans do not like her and are against her.
Its just another way to paint us as the bad guys.
Just another example of Democrats (and their sycophants in the media) doing anything to get elected, no matter what.

Why not? There’s apparently a large enough audience to support those appalling “ Married at First Sight”, etc and all its derivatives.
