I don’t know if any area of DC is safe anymore…….we were staying at the Willard, 1-1/2 blocks from the White House, and my husband dashed over to the local Walgreens and was there when it was openly robbed…broad daylight
This was late 2020
I’m sure it’s much worse now

I have loved DC…..it has so much to offer……but until we get Trump in and crime is taken care of, I never want to go there
