Crimea and Kursk are in range from a launch in Ukraine. Moscow is way out of range.

“Not in US inventory” as such because they are sort of cobbled together from other existing (in big quantity) parts / weapons.
What, we should be firing bombs 90 miles into Mexico? That’s nuts, almost as nuts as Biden’s border policies.
Russia already uses glide bombs to attack Ukraine. They have for some time. Only big difference is that they are aircraft launched for the most part if not all.
As for Iran, they have the tech to make similar if they wish.

Protecting large areas from GPS guided munitions requires big equipment, which is then very vulnerable to being spotted / detected and HARM’ed or area saturation attack.
So... Russia will successfully defend some original targets and obviously talk that up, and others will get hit. GLSDB’s are not terribly expensive and adding them in qty. makes defense significantly tougher, esp. as more area needs defending. “Stretch the defense”.
The Dauntless was mostly Navy and Marine, not Chair Force.
They let the AAF doggies play with them, too.
