Transporting a minor across state lines for immoral purposes is still a violation of federal law. Of course, we’ll need a real Attorney General again before anything would be done about stuff like this.
Wyoming should issue a warrant for the CPS personnel’s arrest and ask for extradition. My son is a police officer and he prefers working with grandparents or relatives than calling in the CPS buffoons, he says they are incompetent, harm the children further and corrupt.
I had two co-workers many years ago and they both had young children. One had a baby by a drug dealer and the baby came up several injured due to a shaken baby. The drug dealer with a reputation and record for violence was watching the baby when the injury occurred but CPS decided, no it was the mother and discounted any possibility of the baby daddy.
The other co-worker and her mom had offered to watch her friend/co-workers baby a couple of days before to give her a break for a few hours. This co-worker and her mom watched him for 4-5 hrs and he was sleeping when the mother picked him up content and happy. When the baby turned up injured CPS came to the co-worker and her mom and grilled them, which was to be expected, but then turned around and demanded they both testify against her friend and co-worker, the mom of the injured baby, that they saw her shake the baby and they said we saw no such thing, she was a great mom to the little one.
When they refused to lie for CPS, CPS then turned on them and threatened to take away her kids if she didn’t testify how they wanted. She asked me what to do and I said, go get a lawyer and get one now and let them deal with this rogue motorcycle gang of bureaucratic heathens. She did and the lawyer got CPS to back off and I’m hearing the ringing words, “No good deed goes unpunished”.
Long story short the mom of the baby lost him to an aunt and uncle who raised the child, which was probably a good thing considering the company of men she kept. The mom, last I heard was an emotional train wreck a decade after this went down and less than a year after it happened mr. innocent the drug dealer baby daddy was killed in a drive by shooting sitting on his porch. CPS is the ATF/FBI of state agencies...
