Delta’s executive suites and CEO are very woke, but except for some token media-hyped cockpit crew here and there the airline itself still seems solid. Premium prices for average service, to be sure, but then other US airlines offer average prices for horrible service. Not sure how long any of them can last in the face of WEF-affiliated politicians who want the industry destroyed.

I heard Delta employs over 16,000 pilots. Replacing that many with DEI recruits is too large a challenge, so military veterans will predominate for quite some time yet.

Obviously, when flying internationally always choose a non-US carrier.

Delta is the best US based airline, IMHO.

A buddies daughter is enrolled at Embry Riddle college in Florida to become an airline pilot. She is already a single engine pilot. She is a very smart girl who had straight As in high school. She also is a very good softball player.

It is too bad Daniel Webster College here in Nashua, NH shut down. It was also one of the few colleges with a 4 year program to become an airline pilot. They also had a program to be an air traffic controller.
