Who does that leave us with? Frontier? Spirit?
I heard Delta employs over 16,000 pilots. Replacing that many with DEI recruits is too large a challenge, so military veterans will predominate for quite some time yet.
Obviously, when flying internationally always choose a non-US carrier.
Delta is the best US based airline, IMHO.
A buddies daughter is enrolled at Embry Riddle college in Florida to become an airline pilot. She is already a single engine pilot. She is a very smart girl who had straight As in high school. She also is a very good softball player.
It is too bad Daniel Webster College here in Nashua, NH shut down. It was also one of the few colleges with a 4 year program to become an airline pilot. They also had a program to be an air traffic controller.
