I didn’t find out about what she went thru until her first stroke in 1980.
She and Dad kept us in the dark. After a couple more strokes, she passed in 1986.

Peace for her at last.

My mother actually lived to 102 and was one of the happiest people you’d ever meet. She did have minor mood episodes in the years following the ect treatments but not debilitating depression.
