In a move that's shaking up the charts (literally), Ben Shapiro has released a rap song with Tom McDonald. For around 30 seconds, the podcaster spits lyrics as sweeping camera shots punctuate the scene. Incredibly, the song is now sitting at number four on iTunes in the rap genre.
To be fair, I did warn everyone that 2024 was going to be bonkers.
Wait, is the song actually...not that bad? You be the judge, but it didn't take long for the memes and trolling to begin.

You pegged it well. I hate rap. I like Tom McDonald but with his music was better.

The caption of that video says:
"This is AI. This is a joke. This isn't meant to be taken seriously. This isn't Ben Shapiro rapping. Nothing in here has been fact checked. This is comedy. This is a parody. The song is called "Ben ShapirBRO - Leftist Tears" please stream it and buy it to keep supporting me and this content! A lot of my content gets demonetized so your support off these platforms helps greatly!" So I don't believe it is the one this article is referencing.

“he actually raps slower than he talks”
That is a pretty common humorous comment people make. It is decidedly so.

Even without gratuitous n, mf and b words I still despise rap in all it’s forms. Very yuck.

His normal distribution is via Tune Core, but they turned this one down on the grounds of lyrical content.
He talks about algorithm adjustments being done on YouTube to detune the ranking.
