Former President Donald Trump on Saturday said he was willing to take responsibility for the potential demise of a bipartisan border deal that's being ironed out in the Senate.
During a campaign appearance in Las Vegas, Trump spoke out against congressional efforts to broker an immigration agreement amid the former president's sustained attacks against President Joe Biden on the explosive issue.
"As the leader of our party, there is zero chance I will support this horrible open borders betrayal of America," the former president told his supporters. "I'll fight it all the way. A lot of the senators are trying to say, respectfully, they're blaming it on me."
"I say, that's OK," he continued. "Please blame it on me. Please."

“Building a wall is a red herring”
“No wall is needed to fix this situation. Border Patrol is being instructed to facilitate illegal entry at scale into the United States.”
“The fundamental problem is that anyone can claim asylum with zero proof, which means all of Earth can come to America.”

Asylum applicants should have to get and post a $20000 bond for their possible welfare costs and asylum claim or be deported on the spot.
Asylum applicants should be liable to repay the costs to the bonding firm issuing their bond and their welfare costs. It should be illegal to pay a bonding firm with government-sourced funds for bonding program participation. Each participant bonding firm should have posted over 200 bonds of at least $10000 each for criminally accused persons released on their bond.
If asylum applicant doesn’t show up for a hearing, the bondsman would have to deliver up the applicant within 30 days or pay the bond amount.
If even Democratic cities don’t want these people, why are they being allowed in?
I don’t trust any of those either.
Name one tool, one law that Biden needs to close the border that he does not already have.

*******
He has the power and doesn’t want to use it.
“Kids in Cages”
That would be a bad headline for Mr Biden.
It’s far worse than you think:

That may be an older bipartisan bill.
Sorry!
Lankford on 13-year-old consent:
Epstein would have thought Lankford a swell fellow.
As the leader of our party, there is zero chance I will support this horrible open borders betrayal of America.
And then the democrats fixed an election.
