The German leadership under Hitler rallied troops who felt humiliated by the outcome of WWI. The Japanese military leaders likewise wanted retribution against Chinese for past Chinese military campaigns and Chinese delusions of racial superiority against Japan. European and Asian peoples have had many battles between neighbors for thousands of years.
You can't appease Muslim Arabs and expect them to embrace Israelis as friends. Naive, will not happen.

I am not insinuating anything about present-day Germans. I am saying that Nazi Germans in that time were the same as present-day Islamic extremists, be they Arabs, Iranians, Pakistani, Sudanese or Indonesian. Instead of racial superiority, they ascribe to religious superiority, which might have been alright if they didn’t believe, as the Nazis did, that their supposed superiority gives them license to mass murder, enslave and subjugate.

And therefore, as people who feel humiliated and frustrated will do, grasped onto an ideology that gave them a sense of purpose into which they can lose their individuality and sacrifice everything for the sake of a mythical tomorrow. In the case of the Nazis, this was the theory of genetic superiority. They were Nieztche’s “ubermenschen” who must eliminate and/or enslave the “untermenschen,” i.e., the Jews, Gypsies, Slavs and negroes to whom they were supposedly racially superior.
The catalyst for this mass movement was the humiliation following WW II and hyperinflation, and the humiliating French looting of the Ruhr Valley coal mines, and heavy unemployment, etc. Read Eric Hoffer’s True Believer for an explanation of this phenomenon. It’s short, illuminating, and brilliant.

You’re comparing the Napoleonic wars and the 100-years war to the Blitzkrieg, the Holocaust, and the Rape of Nanking. Good luck with that.

Jews and Muslims have a relationship spanning a millennium and a half. Jews and Arabs developed simultaneously, and their relationship pre-dates Mad Mo and his marauders by millennia. These are complicated relationships. Pontificate all you want, but you don’t know a damned thing about Jews, Arabs, or Muslims.

“Appease”? I am talking about DEFEATING them, not appeasing them, and then using that defeat as leverage to de-IslamoNazi-fy them. I do have Arab friends from when I lived in Judah and Samaria. Now that I live in the Galilee, I note that Jews and Arabs live together here in more-or-less harmony, interacting positively on the streets and in the supermarkets.
Do not believe the BS MSM version of reality. Real news is a daily happening, and doesn’t occur on TV, in which they only notice Israel when somebody gets killed or maimed.

Another good book I recommend is A Moment in Peking by Lin Yutang, about the years between the Boxer Rebellion until and including the onset of war with Japan.
It’s a novelization, but a very good one by a great philosopher and thinker.
