Biden is working for the ultra-left, the question is why. It’s like he’s under some threat. His energy policies aren’t going to popular with America and he knows it but keeps going.
This is taken in isolation and assumes that the money supply itself is not being raised. When the money supply is raised by the "printing" of new fiat money, then prices rise generally but the relative rise and fall is the same.
Too many people who should know better talk about economics and economic principles without knowing anything about economic cause and effect.
Of course, but the big question is:
How much are Hunter and "The Big Guy" making from it?
.
My company was involved with two pipeline projects that were canceled AFTER their developers had won their legal battles and spent tens of millions of dollars on the design and permitting process over the course of almost a decade.
It was no big secret around the office that these companies had put on these decade-long charades simply to deter their competitors from building their own pipelines to serve the same markets. And in the meantime, the money they paid to the engineers and lawyers for ten years was dwarfed by the revenues they received from selling natural gas at exorbitant prices in a highly constrained pipeline system.
“According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, coal emits significantly more carbon dioxide than natural gas. In 2019, coal-fired plants produced 2,257 pounds of carbon dioxide per megawatt-hour of electricity, while natural gas-fired plants produced less than half that amount, at 976 pounds per megawatt-hour.”
Nuclear power produces zero per MWh but the greens aka the Marxist commies never allow or push nuclear power...why? If CO2 is a planet killer then they should be all in on nuclear power the fact that they are not tells you everything you need to know about their true agenda.
Full disclosure the cement and steel in the reactor plus the mining and refining nuclear fuel all produce CO2 but the amount of power produces by a single fuel pellet is equal to a tonne of coal or three bbl of oil from a single thimble sized pellet. 96% of that pellet is still fuel when it’s removed for waste storage as well.
6.4 grams per kWh is 6400 grams or 6.4Kg per megawatt hour let that number sink in vs the above statements. It is clear that if CO2 was an existential threat that nuclear power is the answer.
As always references to back up.
It's no surprise considering how well funded the "protesters" to such pipelines are. Between the low-cost dirtbags and the trust fund children, the rent-a-mob "protesting" "evil" energy helps keep the monopoly in place.
The LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) part of the story:
The federal government has responded by trying to destroy Texas’s LNG industry, a major part of its economy.
And that move against LNG is a whole other story that’s just as important as the war on the border itself.
Destroying America’s and American companies’ hold on LNG has always been a core part of the Obama-Biden administration.
The O’Bidens were going to enter into an LNG partnership with China and Ukraine.
Biden’s goal was personal enrichment.
Obama’s goal — which Biden continues to put into effect, most notably now against Texas—was to “create reservoirs of economic power over the direction of industry, held by regulators and their privileged cronies.”
Part of why Democrats were so desperate to get Trump out of the White House was that his habit of enforcing the law and looking out for American interests disrupted this plan to control part of the world’s energy supply. (The linked article is extremely complex, although thankfully well-written, so I urge you to find the time to read it.)
In other words, even as he (or the brains behind him) is creating a crisis at the border, Biden is using that crisis to leverage the Obama policy regarding controlling LNG in a way that benefits China and other global players. (For now, Ukraine is no longer a player.)
