“Ukraine caught hiding the truth? That’s laughable, I mean like this is some new revelation. Today most of the truth is hidden by most governments by way of the mainstream media.

Regarding this war, all sides are liars.“

It’s all propaganda all the time. Russia lies, the US government lies, the British lie, the Chinese lie, the Iranians lie, the press lies. Good luck with the truth. For the record, I don’t think anyone is winning this war. Except death.

To clarify:

"Herbert 'Bert' Whalen, 47, made the plea during a video conference. The charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud carries a maximum potential sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 or twice the gross loss or gain caused by the offense, whichever is more.

"Whalen preyed on "innocent victims’ desire to improve their own financial position through what they thought were sound investments,” Philip R. Sellinger, U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, said in a statement."

"...Morris has not been charged with a crime and was not named in the indictment or the statement from the U.S. Attorney's office."

Indy landlord Bert Whalen lived lavishly. Now he's pleading guilty to defrauding investors Indianapolis Star, 1 March 2002

Seems as if Whalen was the "dirty deal." Without a criminal conviction against Morris, a civil case seems weak at best. As with all things, time will tell.

Kleptonazi regime

Klepto: a person with a compulsion to steal

nazi: a national socialist ideology associated with Adolph Hitler

regime: an oppressive, undemocratic government.

The phrase sums up the Zelenski government nicely, even if the brain-dead Liz Cheney devotees might disagree.

So I’m watching the video of the footage of Ukrainian soldiers being buried in mass graves and then the anchor explains that Zelensky’s government will declare them ‘missing in action’ because in the Ukraine, that means the government doesn’t have to pay death benefits etc. Sounds like the Ukraine President Trump was describing when he said the Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

If they need more soldiers, how about sending them all the military aged men illegally crossing our southern border? It would be cheaper than sending them $billions.

The Ukrainian law describing the pension due surviving family members of service members is shown at the 3:55 mark in the video:

SSo this is the money the Ukrainian government saves by declaring soldiers MIA instead of killed in action.

Ukrainians seek recognition for fallen soldiers

By Dan Peleschuk

EXCERPTS:

KYIV, Jan 10 (Reuters) - After her younger brother was killed in November fighting Russian forces in eastern Ukraine, Anna Birzul spent two days stricken with grief.

Then she sprang into action, penning a petition asking President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to award 29-year-old Bohdan Krotov the highest military honour, Hero of Ukraine. . . .

The petitions, introduced in 2015 as a platform for popular appeals to the president, are not a formal part of the nomination process for the award, which was established in 1998.

When Ukrainian troops were fighting a lower-intensity insurgency by Moscow-backed separatists, appeals were registered sparingly.

Now, new petitions appear almost daily from grieving widows, mothers and children - first on the president's website, then splashed across social media - and have become a common ritual in a war that has rallied the nation but shows no signs of abating.

They offer a window into the collective trauma Ukrainians are living through, and underline how virtually every soldier who is killed in battle is seen as a "hero" for helping to defend the country from invading forces.

The government does not disclose its losses, but Western intelligence services have estimated that tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have been killed.

During 2023, Putin managed to capture just 0.01% of Ukrainian territory, despite fighting on his own doorstep and mobilising more than 300,000 additional troops. We hear much about Ukraine’s failed counteroffensive, but Russia’s military failures are far more profound

“that America, having not lost a single soldier, destroyed 50% of Russia’s military potential. Of course, these numbers are exaggerated, but in terms of losing forces and means, they’re right.”

~ Daniil Bezsonov Daniil, Deputy Minister of Information of the so-called "DPR"

more notes from the video (Thank you for posting it)

24,000 'missing' Ukrainian soldiers right now which means the gov will withhold all payments to surviving family members. Here's more about the rules governing the money owed the families  of the deceased.

At the 7:32 mark, a new bill is making its way through parliament which will provide 4 ways for men to pay the military (directly into a military bank account) to leave the country. (Bill #8028 from 9/13/2022). Payments must be made monthly as long as the man is out of the country.

LOL, so what military in the world pays for soldiers that are MIA? Russia? Idiotic

Russian officers refused to collect the bodies of dead troops so the military wouldn't have to pay their families, convict soldier says

An ex-convict Russian soldier said officers in Putin's army refused to collect the dead bodies of fallen troops.

The soldier told The New York Times that it let the Russian military dodge paying their families compensation.

Russia has often downplayed the number of its casualties during its invasion of Ukraine.

Given the fact that Russia mined and established strong defenses along that perimeter, I think maybe they've taken all the territory they are interested in. Also, I think that territory probably corresponds to the areas that had previously voted to become part of Russia.

The nations of the West a probably using this move by Russia as a smoke screen to conceal historic levels of political graft.

That hair doesn’t split. There are no current indictments or tort action against him because it would be a waste of time. Portugal doesn’t extradite to the USA. Which is why he’s hiding there, waiting I suppose for statutes of limitations to run out. Or his victims to die off, maybe.

Had he not fled, he’d have been inundated with civil suits. And he knew full well that he’d lose them all.

There are people making excuses for Hunter Biden. Y’all are in the same club.
