Apple is undoubtedly one of the largest tech companies in the world. And with almost 37,000 of its 161,000 total employees working in California and its headquarters based in Silicon Valley, the tech giant had long been synonymous with the Golden State.
However, Apple recently announced that an entire division based in San Diego will be shut down in April 2024. For those working there, they have two options: move to Austin, Texas, or be let go.

I wonder how many of the fools voted for Newsom.
I owned an Apple laptop, never again.
Trying to turn Texas into an ass of a donkey.
This is the lind of stuff that will turn Texas blue. Then it’s all over.
Apple needs to stay in their ‘Rat urban utopias.
Thank gruesome Newsom.
Great, more liberals coming here.
Oh crap, a bunch more liberal trash moving to Texas, just what we need.
Well, at least they’ll all be in a blue area of Texas...
At least they’re going to Austin. The sh_thole will just stink more.
Quit now Apple employees! Do you know how bad Texas really is? Don’t come.. Signed Real Texan..
They’re truly locusts; descend on an area, ruin it, and then move onto the next target.
Sorry, we’re full.
A lot of Northern Californian liberal trash happily relocated to San Diego county, a relatively lower priced area, thanks to remote working.
Some companies happily moved or shifted tasks to the relatively lower priced area.

Most likely won’t be inclined to relocate to Texas. Too many laws hostile to their lifestyles that are aggressively enforced.
Aw, c’mon, guys! Austin ain’t so bad! Why, it’s just like California! *barf*
I own one. Best laptop I’ve ever had.
151 people - San Diego
Just make the ones that do move to Austin feel unwelcome-there are lots of subtle ways to do that, starting with not associating with them, being condescending and rude etc...
Interesting... is it possible Apple might team up with Texas Instruments, who is already in Austin?
Reason ?
