I would venture that is a bit too cynical for most people. I don’t agree with it, but that is your opinion.
I do understand the sentiment. I just don’t think we were founded that way. But I keep open the possibility, I don’t like to believe, that we are simply an oligarchy now.

I don’t think the Oligarchy ratified by the 1789 Constitution can stand close scrutiny.
