it will be appealed, so saying he must pay is a bit presumptive!
He’s already had to post a bond in order to appeal the original verdict, I’d imagine that he’ll have to do it again. He would only have to pay a small percentage of the amount if he could get someone else to post the remainder, but I don’t think he’ll find someone willing to do that.
