Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) said Friday on CNN’s “News Central” that it was “sickening” former President Donald Trump is “throwing cold water” on lawmakers border security deal.
On Truth Social, Trump posted, “I do not think we should do a Border Deal, at all, unless we get EVERYTHING needed to shut down the INVASION… Also, I have no doubt that our wonderful Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, will only make a deal that is PERFECT ON THE BORDER.”
Manchin said, “I have never been more concerned about my country than I am today. I see what’s going on which way we are heading, and it gets more toxic every day. Look at what is happening now with this border decision. The Democrats and Republicans in the Senate have worked very diligently and very hard, and having an agreement very close to being finished.”

Good grief, this is the third article I have seen today where a pro amnesty Senator complains that Trump is opposed to their “deal”. Often with an implication of “we could pass this if he did not oppose it”.
Are these nitwits so ensconced in their own reality that they truly believe that Republican voters oppose amnesty because they support Trump?

I have never been more concerned about America than I am today. We have an evil maniacal President Joe Biden, and elected officials like Joe Manchin , Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell ,etc. who want open borders.
Most Americans think open borders are the number one problem in America.
President Trump knows open borders mean you no longer have a country. He opposes any deal that President Biden and Senators agree to that continues the Biden open borders policy. I believe most members of the House of Representatives also opposes amnesty and open borders.
No amount of propaganda by Senators and Joe Biden and the so called press will change our minds about the open border that now exists.

Exactly. I'll be critical of Trump when it's warranted but on this, he's entirely right.
The border is a catastrophe because Biden is allowing it to be, not because there's no congressional deal happening. Trump is basically saying, "If you want to fix the border, replace Biden!"
