...Edmonton police continue to investigate the motive for the attack...
Maybe they should be investigating the latest dog bite case. This one is too tough for them, apparently.

Maybe they can find a trucker to pin this on.

My sister-in-law lives in Edmonton. She was bit while on a walk by a small unrestrained dog from across the street owned by unrepentant foreigners. The dog hadn't gotten its shots, but the owners hurried an dgot him shots before the police got involved. This was for her the worst possible reaction, as there was no way to know if the dog was rabid at the time of the bite. So, they got to keep the dog.
On a subsequent walk, the dog was STILL unrestrained, and charged once again. Her younger (but adult) brother accompanied her this time, and he is an accomplished soccer player. The dog wound up back in its yard after the kick, and had to be put down. The owners had the audacity to threaten my sister-in-law!
Anyway, the police in Edmonton were useless in that dog bite case.
